T.O.P. Big brass shines in Funky NYC town

Really great big brass soulful loving sounds from Tower of Power on 3/15 at Sony Hall! So great - I spoke with the Sony Hall manager Greg about the Public Service Announcement about Penn Station Area redevelopment for our community groups, support for WFMU and gifted some Welcome art to give to the band. Greg was very pleasant, kind, helpful and understanding as I was tearing pages from my sketchbook and getting the iron on 4 PSA butterflies ready to give to them while he very politely check in other concert goers. He delivered the gifts promptly and was very gracious. Since a couple was already in my assigned seat, the staff was very generous and upgraded my seat to the floor and the show was really fantastic. The sound was phenomenal. Would have liked more dance space and vegan options on the menu but it was a very super cool night, great service and the audience had many long time fans who were so happy to see the T.O.P. big brass, the new singer and all the band. Public Service Announcement was mentioned in the intro to Don't Change Horses along with a long message to the guys in the audience. It was an incredible long spirited and pulsing soulful version of "Don't Change Horses". He didn't mention Penn Station but mentioned NYC a lot and it was so wonderful to see them at Sony Hall. Wish I had more videos. Thanks so much for sharing your funky love Sony Hall!
